BOGUS BELIEF BUSTER #5 WE CAN DESTROY OUR PLANET Global warming has been a significant focus of
major news organizations for some time now, particularly when the President, congressmen, or senators are up for re-election.
Al Gore has made it his pet project. I'm one of a large number of right-wing conservative
Christians who believe that the bible is the inspired Word of God, and according to the bible this planet is going to last
forever. I hate litter and waste, I hope they keep finding ways to improve the quality of air,
water, land, and the things we consume, but I'm not worried about global warming or of human beings ever having the ability
to destroy this earth with anything they can come up with from pollution to a nuclear bomb. I've read Revelation chapters
20, 21, and 22. God's Word already told me that the earth will never be destroyed (that means it'll last forever), it will
be renovated, but not destroyed. We actually, honestly believe in what is called in our circles,
"The Second Coming of Jesus Christ" which is when He will return and set up his Kingdom on earth, and his reign
will be everlasting. That also means the planet has to be everlasting.

SATAN IS THE RULER OF HELL Satan
is not in hell now, he never has been there, and he doesn't want to go. He was thrown to earth after his fall: Isaiah 14:12-15
King James Version (KJV) Public Domain 12 How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut
down to the ground (to earth), which didst weaken the nations! 13 For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven,
I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north:
14 I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High. 15 Yet thou shalt be brought down to hell,
to the sides of the pit.
Verse 15 above says he will be brought down to hell, he's not there yet, he definitely
doesn't run the place. The lake of fire was created for the devil and his angels, not for us, we got reservations when we
believed his lies and allowed our spirits to be separated from God's Spirit. Rev. 20:10 And the devil that deceived them was
cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night
for ever and ever. 15 And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire. Now Satan is
called the prince of the power of the air, his influence extends on earth and around it's atmosphere.Ephesians 2:1-3 King
James Version (KJV)Public Domain Ephesians 2:1 And you hath he quickened, who were dead in trespasses and sins; 2 Wherein
in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit
that now worketh in the children of disobedience: 3 Among whom also we all had our conversation (manner of living) in times
past in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind; and were by nature the children of wrath,
even as others.

THREE WISEMEN VISITED THE MANGER To begin with we don't know how many wise men there were, there
could have been two, three, or twelve, we just know they brought three gifts, gold, frankincence, and myrrh. The followining
passage reveals they followed the star to the "house" where "the young child" was: Matthew 2:9-12
9 When they had heard the king, they departed; and, lo, the star, which they saw in the east, went before them, till
it came and stood over where the young child was. 10 When they saw the star, they rejoiced with exceeding great joy.
11 And when they were come into the house, they saw the young child with Mary his mother, and fell down, and worshipped
him. Jesus was probably about two years old when the wise men found him, because when Herod found out the wise men tricked
him he was so angry that he ordered all the baby boys in Bethlehem, two years old and under be killed. Matthew 2:16

SHOULD NEVER BE ANGRY BE ANGRY Ephesians 4:26, 27 (King James Version) King James Version (KJV) Public Domain 26Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath: 27Neither give place to the devil. Most ministers I've heard say that this verse means if you are angry with someone make things right before
you go to sleep, don't let your anger become sin. That is good advise for most of the quirky things husbands and wives, parents
and children, siblings, friends, etc. get angry about and can possibly save a lot of grief or even your relationship with
the person. But I'm not sure that's exactly what Paul meant. Could it be that he meant it this way: Be angry about evil and
injustice and don't sin by not being angry about these things, don't let your anger against these things diminish. Don't let
the devil have his way. Paul had times in his life when he was angry and his
anger certainly lasted more than a day. Galatians 2:11-21 indicates that Paul was angry with Peter for hypocricy and when
Peter came to Antioch Paul confronted him about it. In Acts 15:36-41 Barnabus wanted to take John Mark along with Paul and
him as they traveled from city to city to see how the converts were doing where they previously preached, Paul didn't want
to take Mark because he had earlier left them in Pamphylia and didn't go to minister with them, the contention over the matter
was so great that Paul and Barnabus parted company. Later, however, we learn that Paul found John Mark to be a great benefit
to the work of God. Jesus even got angry. He was so angry with the money-changers,
that He threw over their tables and drove them from the Temple. He was angry with the Scribes and Pharisees and called them
hypocrits and "whited sepulchres". His opinion didn't change at nightfall before He went to sleep. His anger had
purpose and healing potential. His anger had the ability to make wrong things right. There
are things that we need to be angry about. We should be angry when a child is molested, or an elderly person is scammed. We
should be angry when someone takes someone elses hard earned belongings, we should be angry at murder. We should be angry
when an innocent person is found guilty of a crime they didn't commit, or a guilty person is found innocent. I'm still angry
that a jury awarded a woman a huge sum of money because she spilled hot McDonald's coffee on herself. There are a lot of things
we ought to be angry about. Some anger can even cause positive changes. John
Walsh was angry that his young son was murdered and now has a program called "America's Most Wanted" that has brought
hundreds of criminals to justice. MADD (Mother's Against Drunk Drivers) was created because of a mother's anger against a
drunk driver that killed her child. Rosa Parks was a tired black woman on a bus who became angry when a white man demanded
her seat and she refused to give it to him, this act of defiance is said to have galvanized the civil rights movement and
change this country. Many laws have been created or changed because someone was angry and did something positive about their
anger.

FEMININE ANGELS? Check
out the Word of God, there's not one mention of a feminine angel or of a baby cherub. They are mighty, powerful figures and
are spoken of in the bible as masculine. Michael, Gabriel, Lucifer, Abaddon, the angels that ate with Abraham, the angels
at the tomb of Jesus, all reported as masculine in appearance. Many who report seeing angels in their true form report they
are very tall. I believe an angel helped me on at least one occasion, he had the size and appearance of a normal man. The
bible does say: Hebrews 13:2 Be not forgetful to entertain strangers: for thereby some have entertained angels unawares. I suppose it's possible
that some angels can take on the appearance of a female in this situation.
